The Sweetbriar Nature Center provides the public with an opportunity to learn more about the natural world, and to help make sure its doors remain open to the community, it has scheduled a summer sale.
This East Northport area facility has put out a call to the area seeking donations for its Outdoor Thrift Garage Sale. Taking place in the Center’s parking lot, local households can take advantage of the opportunity to turn their gently used items into someone else’s treasure.
Along with stopping by for some shopping, the public will be able to lend a hand by donating items to include in the sale. The planners say they welcome the contribution of small furniture items that are in good shape, and collectibles, antique Books and games, and curios are all in demand. Flea markets, vintage, rummage, and garage sales can all attract a large crowd. Promotional Posters and the marketing materials are often reasonably priced, making them a good choice for a fundraising activity. They can be prepared by a poster printing company.
The activity will raise funds for the Sweetbriar Nature Center, and will be turning trash into cherished treasures on Saturday, July 15. It will be held at 62 Eckernkamp Drive in Smithtown.
