Harborfield Public Library offers a diverse range of services and programming to the local area, and to help support efforts, a special event is in the works for the East Northport area.
The Friends of Harborfield's Public Library have organized a Craft and Flea market at the front of the library building, which will be a pop-up event. Community members are welcome to reserve a spot, which are being allocated on a first come, first served basis.
The bookings for a table space are $35, and each will be 10 by 10 feet. Vehicles will not be permitted to use the circle driveway where the tables will be set up, and everyone who plans on participating is advised to nbring a wagon or cart to help move their items. The market will take place rain or shine, but it may be cancelled if the weather is especially challenging. Canopies are permitted to help keep the sun off both sellers and shoppers.
Flea markets give community members a way to support a not-for-profit group while selling items they no longer need. A poster printing company will be able to aid in taking care of marketing pop-up events like this.
The 2022 Friends Craft and Flea will be turning one person’s trash into another’s treasure on May 21. The public is welcome to arrive as early as 10:00 am.
