An eatery that has become popular on Long Island will soon be setting up shop in East Northport.
The owners of Brownstones Coffee plan on opening a location in the town, which will be the company’s second on the island. The first is in Amityville, and it has proven to be a success.
The site for the new establishment will be at the former Friendly’s, which is located at 361 Larkfield Road. An exact date for the grand opening has not yet been released to the public. Once one has been decided, a printer will be able to design and produce custom Drinkware for the restaurant, as well as a variety of promotional items that can be sent out to the local community that let them know when the big day will be.
The company’s other locations have been the focus of several news stories. In 2013, one was named “Breakfast Capital” in the Town of Babylon and was also designated as the “Best Coffee Shop on Long Island” in that same year. It has been highlighted on television, and included in a national feature on Zagat.
The Amityville restaurant was closed in August after a fire, but the company hopes to reopen it as soon as possible. It also reportedly has plans to set up shop in New Jersey at some point in the near future.
