The Cold Springs Harbor Fish Hatchery and Aquarium is home to a variety of fish species, and a special birthday celebration will soon be held in their honor.
This East Northport area organization has plans in the works for its Trout Birthday Celebration, and everyone is welcome to be a part of the excitement. It will draw attention to the life cycle of this local species, offering a learning opportunity for area kids.
The function will celebrate the “hatch day” for the Hatchery’s baby brook trout, and there will be themed activities in store for the guests. The youngsters are encouraged to make and bring a card to celebrate the arrival of these little fish. Admission to the activity is included in the general ticket price to the facility, and members will not be asked to pay an entry fee to the site.
