Those who are interested in adding a new furry member to the family this holiday season are invited to an event in the East Northport area that will give them a chance to find a new pet.
Commack’s PETCO will be hosting the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons, Inc. (ARF) cat and dog adoption expo. Both canines and felines that are in need of forever homes will be on hand to meet the public and hopefully find their perfect match. All of them will be microchipped, neutered, and will have received their scheduled vaccinations. Those who already have a dog and are considering adding another one to their household is asked to bring their current pet along so that it can be introduced to the potential newcomer. Brochures that provide more information about pet care and vaccination schedules can be supplied to each person who plans on rehoming an animal during an event such as this
The organization’s regular adoption fees will apply during the event.
The expo will take place this Saturday, December 3 from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm at the PETCO, located at 30 Veterans Memorial Highway.
