An event focused on lesser known and unique artists is set for Reno in late September to early October.
The Off Beat Music Festival puts a twist on the idea of music festivals. Instead of trying to get the biggest names in the industry, it shines a spotlight on the artists who may not be the most famous, but are chock full of talent. Another twist is the music being spread throughout multiple venues instead of being confined to one space.
Each space will have their own policies, depending on the guidelines set by the CDC at the time. Guests should check on these before heading out to the shows. There are a total of seven venues.
There are 48 artists so far in the lineup. A few include Esther Rose, Acid Tongue, and Smokey Brights. Merchandise will be available for at least some of the artists, featuring their Logo Design. Depending on the size of the venues, it may be set up elsewhere in order to ensure safety for guests and staff. In addition, food and drinks will be for sale at or near each space. Information on local places is available on the festival site.
A pass for all access gets you into any show, as well as the artist lounge. Only 30 are available. These cost $179 plus fees. A discovery pass is $95 plus fees, and gets a few less perks. The general admission does not get access to opening night, costing $79 plus fees. The shows will run from September 30th to October 2nd. It will kick off at 7:00pm on the 30th, and end at 11:59pm on October 2nd.
