Labor Day has traditionally been a time to celebrate the role the average working person plays in the nation’s economy, and Reno will be marking the occasion with a special celebration.
Reno LaborFest will be a family friendly gathering, and it will be a full day of fun. It will also supply opportunities for those in the market for a new career with a chance to see what options are out there, and there will be information provided about available union apprenticeship programs.
The public that takes part can take in the live tunes that will be playing, and there will be lots of trucks and other mobile eateries rolling in to discover. Everyone can view the entries in the late summer show and shine, and a beer garden will be on site as well. The younger guests can head to the Kids Zone, and support for the festivities which are slated for Idlewild Park, has been provided by the Northern Nevada Central Labor Council.
Décor used during outdoor festivals will need to be able to withstand lots of wear and tear, especially if they are intended for multiple uses. A banner printing company can supply a range of options at a variety of price points.
The 2026 Reno Laborfest is scheduled for Monday September 7th. It will be open from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.
