A recruiting combine will be coming to Reno in a few weeks, providing a platform for local high school athletes to chase their dreams of playing at the college level.
The 2026 Far Western 2 Recruiting Combine has an official date on the calendar, and parents in Reno with girls playing volleyball will want to save the date. The recruiting event will bring coaches and scouts from regional programs to one site to evaluate skills, providing opportunities for participating athletes to earn scholarship offers.
The combine is open to girls from 8th grade to seniors in high school. In addition to the college coaches in attendance, girls who sign up will receive a video of their highlights that they can send to other colleges and universities they are interested in attending. Poster printing is an attention-grabbing way to announce such opportunities to parents, with the Posters sharing relevant information in areas with high volumes of traffic.
Upon checking in, the athletes will receive a bib number to help coaches identify the prospects they wish to contact. Parents can also learn more about the recruiting process through a Recruiting Education session led by a Division 1 Head Coach.
The Reno-Sparks Convention Center will host the recruiting combine on Thursday, April 16th, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. Registration is open online for $151.23 per athlete.
