Reno popular showcase ends hiatus

A beloved experience is coming back to the city of Reno for another run this June.

The State Fair of Nevada is an event from the Nevada Department of Agriculture. This will be the first edition of the fair to be officially sponsored by the state in over a decade.

The event will include livestock sales and shows, performances, educational displays, locally grown crops, contests, a market of goods from area businesses, and a carnival.

Guests of every age can find something to enjoy. The experience puts a spotlight on the state’s history and culture.

Tickets are available for individual days for kids (priced at $7 and $12), and adults ($10 and $15), with the higher values applying to the opening day ceremony and the evening concert on top of fair entry. An option covering all dates, the concert, the ceremony, and entry to the Junior Bull Riding show, is $30 for children and $50 for adults. Children are those who are aged 12 or younger.

Event information is available on the Nevada State Fair website. The venue for the Reno event is the Nevada State Fairgrounds. Flyer printing is a popular promotion technique for state fairs and carnivals like this. The events will be running between 8:00am and 10:00pm on June 11th. On both June 12th and June 13th, the time window will be 8:00am to 11:00pm.
