Unique exhibit to visit Reno

An interactive display about a historic period will be coming to Reno in early December.

Jurassic Quest is a self-guided tour through a setup of realistic dinosaurs, as well as several related performances and activities. Visit with baby dinos and their handlers, get up close to creatures wandering through the exhibit, play in some bouncy castles, dig around for hidden fossils, take pictures at photo op spots, craft your own dinosaur, get a look at prehistoric ocean animals, and ride on both moving and stationary dinos.

The staff at Jurassic Quest work closely with paleontologists to get their animatronic creatures to be as close to what the real life counterparts were like, including the movement, appearance, and sound.

Tickets come in several options, including Kids Unlimited, Kids Standard, Adult Standard, and Senior Standard. These are priced at $36, $22, $22, and $19 respectively. The unlimited pass gives children access to all the activities and displays. With the standard, access to some of these pieces comes at a cost of $6 per activity per turn. Active military, police, paramedics, firefighters, military veterans, and families are able to get a discounted price on admission and items by showing a valid ID with proof of their status.

There are timed entry slots throughout each of the three dates. These dates are December 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Merchandise with a related graphic design will be sold at the expo. Tickets can be purchased through the event’s website. The venue is the Reno-Sparks Convention Center.
