TV personality to visit Reno
A multi-talented celebrity is currently on tour and has a show coming to the Reno area in the early days of April.
Alton Brown is a chef, TV host, author, singer, and musician. For nearly two decades, Brown worked for Food Network on several programs. Among the most notable of these are “Good Eats,” the “Iron Chef America” franchise, and “Cutthroat Kitchen.”
During a similar time frame, he also authored a total of 11 books, which serve as a mix of educational material, recipes, and stories.
Brown also created a special blend of coffee, with help from Dancing Goats Coffee. The blend is entitled “The Multitasker.”
As a recording artist, he is a part of The Alton Brown Trio. The group has released an album called “Bitter Like Me,” which features tunes that put a comedic spin on the world of food and Brown’s life.
Alton Brown Live: The Last Bite will bring the Reno crowd a mix of music, laughter, storytelling, science, and cooking. Tickets are available online from the venue, the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts. Prices, including the VIP selection, range between $40 and $203. Those who purchase the $203 VIP tickets will get special perks. Many talents will choose to pay for printing services to print their logo design onto a large quantity of items to sell as they travel.
