Reno to host weekly childrens art practice events
The Arts for All Nevada Art Adventures classes are set to proceed throughout next month in Reno.
The event host, Arts for All Nevada, is an organization that originated in 1986. It was once known as Very Special Arts Nevada, but was given its current name in 2015. The organization hosts many different types of programs and workshops for all art enthusiasts from across the state.
Designed for children grades K to five, the weekly Art Adventures program will take place throughout February in three different sessions. Throughout each class, Reno students will learn skills related to fine art. Art supplies will be provided to each participant. The organizers of similar local classes often invest in poster printing to notify anyone who may be interested as to where and when the event will be hosted.
The sign-up fee for all three classes cost $45 per child. To adhere to state health and safety rules, class sizes will be no larger than eight students at a time, and each attendee must wear a facemask. Each child will be provided a water bottle each, as outside water bottles are not permitted to be brought into the venue.
The Art Adventures classes are scheduled to take place on Tuesdays February 2, 9, and 16 at the Lake Mansion Arts and Cultural Center.
