Reno to host annual music event

Reno will be holding another edition of a yearly festival in early October.

Off Beat Music Festival is an event that highlights smaller artists. Incorporating many local venues as well, the festivities allow for attendees to explore the city while they discover new music. A wristband will make the movement from space to space easier for both staff and guests. However, these will need to be taken care of, as loss, removal, destruction, or tampering will result in them being voided. Entry to each show will depend on if a venue is at capacity.

A selection of the bands/singers performing are Blood Lemon, Built to Spill, French Cassettes, Jodavi, Seratones, Spaceface, Weep Wave, and Moonily. A full line up can be found on the event’s website, along with biographies of each act. Most of the shows/venues are age restricted to those 21 or older, although the Holland Project is an exception to this rule.

There are three options available for tickets or wristbands. General admission is $85 and gets a person access on the final two days of the event. For $99, buyers get access to all three days, as well as locked-in entry to the headlining show on night one. A pass with access to all shows as well as the lounge for the performers is $179. Flyer printing will often be used when promoting similar activities.

The festival will be running from 7:00 pm on October 6 to just before midnight at the end of October 8.
