Reno set for artistic outdoor event
Reno is bringing creative people together for an exciting event in late August.
Reno Chalk Art & Music Festival combines both sound and visual art to show off work by artists and performers from across the country. Over 150 different chalk artists will be creating pieces live in front of the attendees. Awards will be given in four categories, including People’s Choice, where the audience will get to vote for their favorite.
Music, drinks, food, shopping, and an area for children will add to the atmosphere and experience during the three-day event. One of the ticket options also offers a unique opportunity to sample 14 beverages from the hard seltzer and beer vendors at the event, as well as being able to get one full-sized drink for no additional cost. Those who choose this option will also be given access to covered seating spaces.
Tickets are available through the RCA&MF website. The tasting tour bundle comes in at $43.20, while standard admission is $12.30. Anyone 17 years old or younger is able to attend the event at no cost. Flyer printing will often take place in the promotional process for festivals. The excitement will run through three days.
