A Reno company will be putting on a new edition of an annual event in early April.
Heels and Hounds is a combination of a brunch, fashion show, shopping, auctions, and a fundraiser. The money goes to help the Nevada Humane Society continue its mission of caring for animals and finding them homes.
The fashion show portion will see models based in the area strutting down the runway with some of the loveable pets available for adoption right at the event. Many local businesses will have a table or booth for guests to shop from. Guests will have the chance to participate in a live or silent auction for various gifts or gift baskets, with items donated by companies or individuals.
Animals, which are available to be adopted, will be around for attendees to interact with as well. Champagne will be provided along with the brunch meal.
VIP tickets can be purchased for $2,250. This covers admission for 10 people, seating at a single table, entry to a party at 9:00 am, first access to the silent auction and animals, and a champagne toast with the CEO, Greg Hall. Other tickets are available for $175 for one person and $1,575 for 10.
Sponsorships can also be found with the tickets on the Handbid website. These range from $100 to $400. A link is available on the organizer’s site.
The venue is the Tuscany Ballroom at the Peppermill Resort. Flyer printing is often used as part of promoting fundraising events. The experience will run from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm on April 8.
