Reno honors different music genres
A two-day event in the middle of July is set to make Reno the backdrop to a celebration of several popular genres in the realm of music.
Brighter Daze Festival aims to bring together the community through both art and music. The event is put together by JMF Entertainment and Good Vibez Presents. The companies hope to provide guests with a sense of joy through an inclusive environment.
Live music will be performed by artists such as Rebelution, Artikal Sound System, E40 & Too Short, Mike Love, Wyclef Jean, and Tribal Seeds. The genres gaining the spotlight will be reggae, hip-hop, and rock.
Attendees can find areas to rest, as well as spaces where they can partake in the creation of artistic pieces.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase on site. Water stations will be placed throughout the venue.
Tickets are available through the festival’s website. Individual day tickets are $120 for general admission and $211 for VIP. Entry covering both days is $200 for general admission and $399 for VIP. Kids 3 or younger can attend free with a paid adult. Everyone under 18 will need to have an adult with them to attend as well.
The Reno event will take place on J Resort’s Festival Grounds. Many festivals incorporate the promotion technique of flyer printing in the advertising process. The activities will be starting at 1:00pm each day, with re-entry being allowed until 5:00pm. The dates are July 19th and July 20th.
