Reno farm to host weekend Easter celebrations

A farm located in Reno will use three weekends from mid- to late-March to give kids and their families an exciting experience, all while celebrating the Easter season.

The Green Meadows Farm’s Easter Egg Hunts will be a set of events designed for children in two age brackets. Participants get to run around a designated space and look for bright eggs, all of which are filled with delicious candy.

For children from 1-3 years old, there is no limit on the time for egg hunting, but the amount of people allowed in the area at one time will be controlled. The older kids, aged 4-12, will have a timed hunt.

The hunts will be taking place from 10:30am to 3:30pm on each date. Baskets can either be purchased for $5 or brought from home. Only one hunt is allowed per child each day.

The farm also has an Easter walking trail with several photo opportunities, including a chance to pose with the Easter Bunny at the end. In addition to these themed activities, attendees can also enjoy hayrides, racing pigs, and feeding goats.

The egg hunt is included within the regular admission price of $16. Tickets can be purchased at the gates, or on the organization’s website. Flyer printing can often be used to advertise holiday related activities.

The farm is open from 10:00am to 4:30pm each day, with the last entry at 3:00pm. The egg hunts will be available on selected dates throughout March.
