Although fall often brings cooler days, a Reno event will be adding some heat to an October weekend.
An event will pair hot and spicy chili with ice cold beer, and a large selection of local eateries will be including their dishes in the mix. Those who attend the Grand Sierra Beer and Chili Festival are advised by the organizers to arrive ready to fill their bowls with the chilies of their choice and have a great time. Admission is free, and the attendees can purchase any of the chilies, beer, and other items on offer.
More than 12 area restaurants have added their name to the roster of eateries that will be included in the event, and the crowd will be invited to vote for the one they feel is the best. A variety of local breweries will have beers on offer, and both general and VIP admission packages are available. Tasting glasses and other Promotional Products branded with the event’s Logo Design can be prepared by a printer for use during an event like this.
To help build the festive atmosphere of the occasion, live entertainment has been scheduled to perform throughout the weekend. All ages are welcome, from mini chili lovers on up, but alcohol can only be purchased by those who are at least 21 years of age.
This hunt for Reno’s chili champ will be held on October 19 and 20. Service animals are welcome, but it has been requested that pets are otherwise left at home.
