Popular band headed for Reno

A legendary group will be bringing their tour to Reno for a show in late September.

The Foreigner: The Greatest Hits Of Foreigner Tour will be putting on a show for Reno at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino. Foreigner consists of Kelly Hansen, Mick Jones, Michael Bluestein, Chris Frazier, Jeff Pilson, Luis Maldonado, and Bruce Watson. Put together in 1976, the group was originally made up of Jones, Ed Gagliardi, Ian McDonald, Lou Gramm, Dennis Elliott, and Alan Greenwood.

Foreigner has maintained its immense popularity through the decades, with millions of people consuming the group’s music through multiple avenues of both new and old media. A few of the songs in the large catalog are “Cold as Ice”, “I Want to Know What Love Is”, “Hot Blooded”, “Juke Box Hero”, “Feels like the First Time”, and “Whole Lotta Love”.

A VIP bundle is available for $250. This gets buyers a host, reserved seat, a special check-in area, behind-the-scenes information about the concert from the tour’s crew members, early venue entry, the chance to put in a question for the band’s question-and-answer segment, a socially distanced picture with the group, early merch shopping, a bundle of exclusive items, and a laminate featuring a tour-related graphic design. Masks are required and will only be allowed to be removed for the picture.

Available tickets are priced between $108 and $499. The show is set to kick off at 8:00pm on September 24th.
