Pop culture convention headed for Reno

Reno, Nevada is playing host to a convention celebrating everything pop culture in mid-June.

The event, known as Campbell Con, is a convention celebrating multiple Forms of art, including movies, television, comic Books, and drawings. Campbell Con is one of the many events likened to the large San Diego Comic Con, although it all takes place over one day.

Many people show up to these types of events in costume, although it is not required. This year’s event is set to be the 5th anniversary of this particular con, which has been rescheduled from 2020 when pandemic measures meant it could not take place.

Guests at conventions like this are often likely to change, but currently, those listed as attending include Mindy Sterling, Lana Wood, and Luis Rivera. There will also be vendors of many kinds, with artists and companies alike sure a part of the options for people to shop from. Poster prints of artist works, and T-Shirts with various graphic designs, are among the goods likely to be available for purchase. Panels have also been a part of the event in previous years, so attendees may want to stay tuned to the event’s website for updates.

Campbell Con will be located at Circus Circus Reno, and will take place on June 12 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
