A world-famous music star originally from across the pond will travel to Reno in order to perform in early October.
Sting, who is a songwriter, activist, singer, author, and actor, is most frequently recognized for his time in the rock group known as The Police. A few tunes he recorded with the band include “Message In A Bottle,” “Roxanne,” and “Every Breath You Take.” The trio, also including Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers, scored a total of six Grammys, as well as a spot in the 2003 class of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
As a solo act, Sting established his own popularity on top of the group's success. Winning awards such as a further 11 Grammys, an Emmy, a Golden Globe, and a pair of Brits. A selection of his solo works shows tunes such as “Englishman In New York,” “All This Time,” “Fields Of Gold,” and “Fragile.”
The tour, entitled “STING: MY SONGS 2023,” will give locals a chance to see the star perform a collection of music from both his time with The Police and his solo career. The location for the concert is the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino. A collection of merchandise, including items like T-Shirts and Posters with a graphic design that links back to the artist, are likely to be sold at the show to many of Sting’s adoring fans.
