Computer class on offer for Reno newbies

A Reno workshop series can come to the rescue for those who are feeling somewhat intimidated by computer technology, and it can help to make those who take part much more comfortable when it comes to going high tech.

The Computer Essentials Made Simple series will teach a group of learners the fundamentals of using a computer, and its designed to be both informative and fun. It will include an exploration of both hardware and software, and all the participants will get some hands on experience with both a key board and mouse.

During the class, the group will gain experience using WIndows 10 and other software, and the atmosphere will be welcoming and friendly. It will move along at a casual pace, and each class will run for two hours. The planners remarked it can be a great foundation for other computer learning, and there will also be a discussion about the opportunities that are available to gain further computer experience through the site’s Open Computer lab.

Those who participate in this type of activity are often very eager to learn, and arming them with an assortment of handouts and other items can aid them in continuing to practice their new skills even after it is over. A printing services company can provide these as well as any other printed materials that are required.

Registration is now open for this basic computing class, and it will be offered from September 14 to September 18. It is slated to be held in the Neil Road Recreation Center, and the fee to register is $20.
