Comedic performer to visit Reno

A multi-talented artist will be bringing their unique act to Reno in mid-June.

Weird Al Yankovic is an actor, singer, songwriter, producer, director, and voice actor. He is most well-known for his parodies of popular music, as well as the polka mashups.

A unique aspect of Yankovic’s career is that he has always gone to the artists for permission to release the parodies he makes of their work, even though this is not a legal requirement. Some of his voice work includes “My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic” and “Milo Murphy’s Law.” Yankovic has also appeared in several other TV shows and films, in addition to writing Books and producing a biopic. Over the years, his avenues of creativity have won him many accolades.

The Unfortunate Return of the Ridiculously Self-Indulgent Ill-Advised Vanity Tour will be a show where Yankovic is able to perform more of his own songs in a smaller setting. There is a VIP bundle available for $329. This will get attendees a ticket in one of the front 15 rows, a laminate, a signed poster with a unique graphic design, a meeting with Yankovic, access to a pre-show Jeopardy game, a photo, a place to relax with other VIPs, early entry, a merch item, merch shopping with no crowd, and a host that will be at the event.

Tickets range in price between $59.17 and $352.29. The venue is the Reno Ballroom. Proof of a negative test or full vaccination is required for attendance. The show will begin at 8:00 pm on June 12.
