Comedian to visit Reno

A well-known performer will be bringing their show to Reno in early July.

Kevin Hart is a comedian, actor, author, and more, and he will be stopping by Reno as part of his Reality Check Tour. Starting his comedy under the stage name “Lil Kev”, he did not have the best luck. With his mentor, a man named Keith Robinson, Hart ditched the moniker and started to see more success. Several of his tours have ended up being shown in movie theaters or on streaming platforms. Hart has also done multiple albums with his standup routines.

His acting debut was made on both small and large screens in 2002, with parts in the show “Undeclared” and the movie “Paper Soldiers”. Some of his other roles include “Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle”, “Central Intelligence”, and “The Secret Life Of Pets 2”.

The Reality Check Tour has several VIP options. Each includes a reserved ticket, a special check-in area, a laminate with the tour’s Logo Design, a red carpet, a lithograph, shopping for merchandise without crowds, and a special item. The silver bundle also gains access to a lounge area before the show with drinks and food.

The gold bundle adds on a non-fungible token (NFT), as well as a tour-themed satin jacket. The front row bundle gets a seat in the first row, additional drinks, and the lithograph will be signed. These go for between $293 and $630. Regular tickets are priced from $143.12 and $265.

The venue is the Reno Events Center. Phones will be kept in pouches during the show, which can only be opened within designated spaces. The show will kick off at 8:00pm on July 1st.
