Titan Development is spearheading a groundbreaking initiative to convert a vacant lot at the heart of the Journal Center into 'The Senary by Allaso,' a multifamily community comprising over 200 units. Located at the intersection of Jefferson and Masthead, this proposed $64 million project may kick off a huge redevelopment of Journal Center, a hub currently bustling with 15,000 jobs but limited to a Monday-to-Friday routine.
Josh Rogers from Titan Development commented on the proposed project, saying:
“It’s a great place to walk. It’s a great place to bike, and it’s really just a wonderful place to live, and now, people finally have the opportunity to live here.”
With the introduction of these apartment complexes, the Journal Center is poised to evolve into a vibrant 18-hour, 7-day-a-week activity zone, according to Rogers, a key figure in the project. Addressing Albuquerque's pressing housing needs, this endeavor represents the initial phase. However, there is optimism and anticipation that further developments, such as restaurants and other businesses, will soon follow suit. Graphic design is a technique that is often used when designing large projects.
Rogers emphasized the interconnected nature of this endeavor, stating that constructing housing, offices, retail spaces, and commercial establishments is synergistic. The completion of this visionary project is anticipated by late next year, promising a dynamic and inclusive transformation for the Journal Center and its community.
