New condo building coming to Albuquerque

The Albuquerque neighborhood of Nob Hill is scheduled to be the home for a brand new 36-unit condominium building that will include some retail units in its ground floor space. The building will be named ‘Condos at the Carlisle’.

The location for the new development will be at the corner of Carlisle SE and Central. The estimated cost for the construction for the project is expected to come in at around $8.2m, and it is being undertaken by Albuquerque developer and builder Kenny Hinkes. He noted that the building is intended to be very appealing to baby boomers who are looking to downsize their home while still having all the comforts they enjoy.

The plans currently call for each condo to have two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a separate storage area. They are also designed so that each will have its own patio or balcony. A poster printing firm can create large size renditions of the artists’ drawings of the plans so that people will be able to see what they will look like. This may help them to make the decision to move in.

The structure will not only include spaces for condos and retail establishments, but also parking. There will also a common space on the building’s roof where occupants will be able to gather and socialize with one another.
