The Luminaria Tour is an annual traditional in New Mexico. This tour of Old Town is a festive twinkling wonderland that adorns many of the hot spots, such as the Albuquerque Country Club and the Los Altos neighborhood. Tickets for this event have been on sale since November 25 and may be purchased online in advance or at the designated ticket office in downtown Albuquerque.
The Luminaria Tour allows guests to enjoy the festivities without having to worry about finding parking, putting up with traffic jams and delays, or driving through the frigid winter snow. The Luminaria Tour leaves from the Albuquerque Convention Center and all people attending the tour are requested to park just east of the Convention Center in the parking structure. This is a great family event and one of the fastest-growing traditions for families in this area.
Tours leave at 5:20pm, 5:45pm, 6:10pm, 7:15pm, and 7:40pm. The tour sells out quickly, so those interested are urged to avoid disappointment and purchase their tickets in advance. It would be wise to dress appropriately as the tour will go ahead rain or shine.
Poster printing and flyer printing may have been used to promote this annual tour to residence of this community and the surrounding area. Tickets cost $3 per adult and $1.70 for seniors and children between the ages 10 to 18.
