A two-day mosaic art class for beginners is set to take place in Albuquerque this summer.
Taught by Jill Gatwood, an experienced mosaic artist, this educational event will occur at the SW Craft Connection studio. Centering around all types of arts and crafts, the SW Craft Connection sells art enthusiasts a wide variety of supplies and art pieces. The studio also serves as a venue for art instructors to teach classes or for other arts and crafts themed events.
On the first day of the mosaic art workshop, class participants will learn the basics of mosaic art including tile cutting, design, grouting, and what tools are needed. On the second day, each student will create their own mosaic art pieces and learn how to apply their newly gained skills in future art projects.
Albuquerque locals who wish to sign up for the class can purchase tickets online at $100 per person. All participants who register will receive their own necessary art suppliers on the day of the class. When arranging classes, the hosts frequently use poster printing as an effective and economical way to advertise upcoming events.
This beginner’s art class is scheduled to begin on Saturday, August 1 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, and conclude on Sunday, August 2 at 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
