Annual family-friendly event comes to Albuquerque park
Ventana Ranch Community Park in Albuquerque will host an annual event for families: the Westside Summerfest.
Westside Summerfest has a focus on local bands performing, food and merchandise. The event is free and open to all, including pets on leashes, and will take place weather it rains or shines. There will be activities for children, shops and food trucks
For those 21 years old and over, there will also be a variety of local breweries, distilleries and wineries selling adult beverages as part The Cantina at Albuquerque Summerfest. Vendors include Rolling Still Distillery, Brew Lab 101 & Cider Co., Safe House Distilling Co., La Cumbre Brewing Co. and many others.
Food trucks include Zia Strong Snac Shac, Kimo’s Hawaiian BBQ, Baskin Robbins, Red Taco Shop, Blenders, Slap The Ever Awesome Meat Q LLC, The Dough Box, Wow Wow Hawaiian Lemonade and Belnders, among others.
There will also be local shops selling hand-made goods, including Herbs and Amor, Haus of Flame Candle Co., Sweet Treats by Michelle, PicaSweet, Ryan and Honey’s Shop, Mobius Theory, The Living Flame Candle Co., Bee Nice Beauty and Amy Baca Lopez Art Studio, to name a few.
Community events like this may choose to use print shops to create promotional material such as flyers.
