Albuquerque enjoys wine festival

The Albuquerque Harvest Wine Festival will be held this year at Balloon Fiesta Park, and will feature over twenty wineries, as well as various activities for participants. This festival will be held over a three-day period.

One of the main draws of this event is the wine. More than twenty wineries will be in attendance with wines to sample. Many tastings will be free with purchase of a ticket, but some may require an extra fee. Wineries will also be selling bottles and cases of wine to go home, as well as full glasses to enjoy at the event.

Other activities include painting and grape stomping. The grape stomping is free and open to attendees of all ages. Painting classes will be held throughout the event, and are free day-of, or $5 to reserve a spot ahead of time.

Tickets to this event are $25 for participants if they purchase ahead of time, or $30 day-of. Tickets include the tastings, as well as a commemorative wine glass, and a token for $5 off any bottle of wine purchased at the event. Designated driver tickets are also available for $10. Children 15 and under are free to the event but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

With the number of vendors at the event, it is likely that some will carry Business Cards, or take advantage of flyer printing to have more information available for those attendees who are interested. This festival will be held from 11 am to 6 pm on August 31 to September 2.
