What's Happening in Albuquerque, NM…

Albuquerque celebrates coffee and chocolate

Albuquerque residents who are fans of breakfast or gourmet food may be interested in the annual Southwest Chocolate & Coffee Fest coming to the EXPO center.

The festival spans two days and includes live music from local bands, hands-on classes, coffee, chocolates and other confectionery food from vendors across the globe and plenty of activities planned for both the indoor and outdoor portions of the venue. In addition, a number of local wineries and breweries will be at the festival.

The event organizers tout it as the “world’s largest” festival for chocolate, coffee and gourmet foods. The festival sprawls 250,000 square feet across 6 stages and includes over 200 vendors with over 20,000 expected to attend.

Vendors who specialize in candy, baked goods, teas, chocolate and coffee will be in attendance. In addition, patrons can attend tastings and demonstrations by world-class chefs and craft business owners. There will also be learning opportunities from baristas, chocolatiers, coffee roasters and other hands-on events at the festival.

Those who work in the chocolate or coffee industries may be inclined to seek business card printing to connect with potential customers or clients.

The Southwest Chocolate & Coffee Fest is happening on April 5-6 at the EXPO on 300 San Pedro Dr. N.E. in Albuquerque. Each day runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
