New residences in Jersey City almost fully leased

The Hazel in the Bergen-Lafayette neighborhood of Jersey City has 95 percent of its 87 upscale rental residences leased. This is the second phase of the project developed by Fields Grade and Alpine Residential.

This phase is a building of six stories and is part of the Bergen Lafayette Collection, a series of mixed-use properties that have helped to reshape the Bergen-Lafayette neighborhood. The building is on Monitor Street and offers a mix of oversized studio apartments to homes with two bedrooms and many amenities.

Among the features are ceilings over nine feet high, custom modular closets, luxury plank flooring, a washer and dryer, smart lock entry systems, and complimentary window treatments. The kitchens have quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, soft close cabinetry, and lighting under the cabinets. The bathrooms are lavishly appointed and some of the homes have an additional den.

Among the amenities are barbecue areas, a terrace on the rooftop with a pool. Multiple courtyards, a sky lounge with views of the New York City skyline, and a dog run. Additional amenities include a fitness center, a library with a fireplace, a demonstration kitchen, and co-working space.

Liberty State Park is nearby offering a marina, a two-mile promenade, and 1,200 acres of open space.
