The first annual Toy Giveaway in Hudson County will take place at the William Brennan Courthouse on Newark Avenue in Jersey City next month.
Craig Guy, Executive of Hudson County, and Local 100 of the Transport Workers Union of America invite residents to this event to help spread holiday cheer.
This will be an evening of presents, sweet treats, and photographs with Santa Claus. Families are encouraged to register their children and their ages so the organizers of the event will be better able to have the appropriate gifts for them.
Guy said that the holiday season is one of coming together in the community to lift one another up and share hope. He added that he is committed to ensuring that residents of the county can lead fulfilling and healthy lives throughout the year and not just during the holidays.
Such unique and inaugural events can rely on banner printing to be promoted throughout a city and neighboring communities.
Local 100 is a chapter of the Transport Workers Union of America, which represents workers involved in transportation in subway and bus lines and several airlines across the country. There are 41,000 workers in the public transportation system of New York City and at some private bus lines serving the New York City metropolitan area which are represented by this union.
This event will be from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday December 16.
