The annual holiday gala of Hudson County Community College (HCCC), held at the Culinary Conference Center of the college in Jersey City, recently raised $175,000 in scholarship funds. Over the years, more than $3m in scholarships has been provided by the HCCC Foundation.
The gala also featured tours of the Culinary Arts Institute (CIA) kitchens of the school and foods from various regions of America, in accordance with the theme of the gala, which was Americana. The chefs and instructors of the program prepared the food and the students served it to the guests. Displays can be created by poster printing companies so that people learn more about such scholarships and efforts made by members of the community.
