Jersey City to host business summit

The annual business resource summit of Hudson County will be held at Hudson County Community College in Jersey City later this month.

This free event is hosted by the Hudson County Office of Business Opportunity. The theme of this year’s event is “Breaking Barriers: Pathways to Government Contracts, Connections & Capital.”

This summit is an ideal opportunity for business owners and entrepreneurs in the county to find resources and benefit from networks needed for starting and growing their businesses.

Attendees will be able to meet with decision makers and government buyers, get access to support on site from trusted agencies, gain insight into contract opportunities, acquire real tools for business advancement, participate in workshops customized for the various stages of business development, and network with professionals in the industry.

Such events can turn to flyer printing to promote themselves and their benefits for attendees.

Criag Guy, executive director of Hudson County, expressed his pride in being able to support local business professionals and entrepreneurs with insight into advancement and opportunities in business. He said that the summit this year will focus on creating pathways to capital and contracts with local government to ensure that businesses in the county do more than just survive, and are successful.

This event will be held from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm on Thursday, September 25.
