Zy Richardson has been appointed as Vice President of Communications of the Tara Dowdell Group (TDG), a social good public relations and marketing agency with its main office in Jersey City.
This appointment will enable TDG, a Black female-owned business, to expand its services to the metropolitan area of Washington, D.C. and Baltimore. Such appointments often need business card printing services.
The founder and president of TDG, Tara Dowdell, said that Richardson will start a new era for the agency. Dowdell explained that she started the agency with a goal to build a full-service marketing and public relations agency that supports organizations engaged in social good and maintains the highest levels of integrity and excellence. Dowdell said Richardson shares this vision and will enable the agency to continue to expand and innovate in the dynamic landscape of the media in the metropolitan area of Washington, D.C.
Richardson was previously Director of Communications and chief spokesperson at the State’s Attorney Office in Baltimore, where she led high stakes messaging on criminal justice reform focused on drug policy and racial justice. At TDG, she will lead public relations for the agency, help build out the metropolitan Washington, D.C. office, and oversee content development, building on her expertise and 20 years of experience in developing effective media relations strategies.
