Walk for mental health to be held in Fair Lawn area

Christian Health will be hosting a Mental Health Awareness Walk at its campus in Wyckoff on Sicomac Avenue next month. Residents of nearby Fair Lawn may be interested in this event to prioritize wellness and support mental health awareness.

There will be a walking loop of a half mile, and participants can complete as many laps as they wish. There is no fee to register, and family and friends are encouraged to support participants. Participants will also have the opportunity to connect with mental health professionals and staff from Christian Health.

The goal of this walk is to raise awareness about the millions of Americans in the country who live with mental health conditions. The mission of Christian Health is to extend support, foster public education, and highlight the wellness of families and individuals affected by mental illness.

Those who attend will receive a complimentary tee shirt. There will be light refreshments including water and coffee and snacks. Restrooms will also be available on site. Those who cannot attend are encouraged to make a donation.

Poster printing can be used throughout a town and neighboring communities to help promote such walks, their charitable intentions, and how people can contribute to such efforts.

This walk will be held on Saturday May 16. Check in will begin at 8:45 a.m. and the walk will begin at 9:30 a.m.
