The Fair Lawn Police Department and Local 67 of the Patrolman’s Benevolent Association (PBA) are collaborating with other PBAs throughout Bergen County to hold a holiday toy drive for the benefit of children.
It is hoped that children experiencing hardships during this holiday season will find joy and happiness with this initiative. For many years, businesses and residents of Fair Lawn have given monetary donations and thousands of toys. The goal this year is to collect even more gift cards and toys to ensure that these children can have a light of hope during this festive season.
Toys can be dropped off at:
• Fair Lawn Police Headquarters and Radburn Exxon on Fair Lawn Avenue
• Ness Pizza, Luca’s Deli, and Beyond Hair on Saddle River Road
• Retro Fitness on Pollitt Drive
Monetary donations and gift cards can be made out to Fair Lawn PBA Local #67 and dropped off at the police headquarters in Fair Lawn. One way to ensure that the community is aware of such toy drives is through the use of flyer printing.
One of the goals of the PBA is to provide support for the police, the community, and families in need, particularly at crucial times of the year, such as during the holiday season.
Collections are currently being undertaken and will end on Monday, December 8.
