Southern-style barbecue place to open soon

Brothers Smokehouse, a restaurant that serves Southern cuisine and barbeque, will be opening in North Ramsay this summer. Residents of Fair Lawn will no doubt want to try these family recipes that have been handed down through the generations.

Construction is coming to a conclusion on the eatery located on Route 17. Banner printing at such sites can be used to inform the community of such eateries and also serve to advertise and promote the brand.

Chris, Jamie, and Gavin Farella, brothers and owners of the restaurant, opened the original shop in New Winder, New York about 10 years ago and have been thinking about and planning this shop for many years. Although they were raised in the Hudson Valley, they spent their summers in Beaufort, North Carolina and learned about Eastern Carolina barbecue from family recipes from their mother, Cheryll Farella.

The interior of the restaurant will be finished with brick and wood. Guests will be able to listen to classic rock, the blues, and smooth jazz music while dining on the house specialties of smoked meats, including chicken, brisket, pork, and ribs. Also on the menu will be Southern-style side dishes including candied yams, mac and cheese, and collard greens, as well as cornbread.

In addition, Brothers Smokehouse will provide catering services. The restaurant is currently hiring for all positions.
