New residential development to come to Fair Lawn

Ground has been broken on a senior luxury housing project on Pollitt Drive in Fair Lawn.

The building will be four stories high and will offer 307 units for adults 55 years of age and older, with 46 of the units designated as affordable housing. The property currently has an office building which is vacant and will be taken down. The new building will have apartments with both one and two bedrooms and many indoor and outdoor amenities, including a bocce courts, an outdoor pool, a steam room and sauna, and salon areas. Brochure printing is often used to highlight the amenities and features of such upcoming projects.

The property is close to shopping, dining, and entertainment in Northern New Jersey and has easy access for commuting to New York City. It is a few minutes away from the Radburn New Jersey Transit Train Station with service to Penn Station in New York and the Hoboken Terminal.

Michael Sommer, Executive Vice President of Development and Construction at Kushner Properties, which is developing the site, said that this project will transform a property that has been underutilized into a high-end residential property that will fill an importance need and offer a new level of luxury in the Fair Lawn area.

The project is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2025.
