The Fair Lawn Chamber of Commerce is putting together its latest event: A Taste of Our Town. The evening supper allows residents to chew the fat as they chow down on local delicacies, all while supporting a good cause.
A number of local restaurants will be represented at the event, providing appetizers, soups, and small portions of their signature dishes. Attendees will be able to sample liberally from the collected fare, gaining a wider impression of Fair Lawn eateries than they might otherwise have. The dining experience also serves as a networking opportunity, allowing diners the opportunity to speak, connect and exchange custom Business Cards while also having a space where local restaurateurs can swap tips and information.
The meal serves as more than just a chance for restaurants to pass around Promotional Products, however; the proceeds from the evening go to benefit the Fair Lawn Department of Health and Human Services Food Pantry. The group is a fixture in the community, providing food and basic necessities to local families who are hungry.
A Taste of Our Town will take place on February 28 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Fair Lawn Community Center, located at 10-10 Kipp St. Admission is $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Anyone wishing to purchase tickets or gain more information should visit the website.
