Westfield area kids invited to reptile meet and greet
A Westfield area event will introduce kids to the scaly set, and there will be two different show times for the public to choose from.
Imagine That Museum will be welcoming the Reptile Show, and there will be two sessions for local families to choose from. Masks are required and social distancing policies will be in place, and there are enough spots at each session to accommodate 20 children.
During the shows, the kids will be introduced to a tortoise as well as a snake and a lizard. They will have an opportunity to meet them up close and even pet them, and they will learn about their lives and why they're important. Both before and after the activity, the families will be able to enjoy the 16,000 square feet of open play space, and the cafe will open as well. Those who plan on attending one of the reptile experiences will need to pay the general admission fee to the site.
By giving kids a chance to learn about reptiles and see and touch them, an activity like this can develop an appreciation of the natural world. Offering each child a book filled with nature based activities will help them to keep on making discoveries on their own, and these may be prepared by local print shops.
Imagine That Museum will be hosting this special activity on November 21st. Tickets must be purchased in advance through the museum’s website.
