Clark prepares for annual Record Riot

Whether they are hoping to add some new albums to their own collection or have some they would like to sell, a Clark event is set to offer plenty to those who love vintage and other vinyl records.

Dubbed the “Clark Record Riot” the sale is one stop on the organizers circuit. It will be held at Arthur C. Johnson High School, and it will be open to the public for seven hours.

The venue’s cafeteria will be hosting the activity. Guests are asked to enter through the doors on the left-hand side of the school. Admission to students and employees of the Clark School system will be free of charge with their ID, and at least 50 tables will be set up. LPs, CDs, and other formats will be in the mix, and anyone who is interested in setting up shop for the day can reserve a table space for $100, which includes the use of a six-foot table.

Pop-up sales may be focused on a niche market, and they often attract a large number of collectors. A poster printing company will be able to help build the buzz in the weeks leading up to an event.

The Clark Record Riot will welcome vinyl fans on Sunday, January 11. Its doors will open to the public at 10:00 am.
