Clark’s fishing fans may be able to score some big savings on gently used gear, thanks to an event that will take place in late November.
The annual Rahway’s Fall Fishing Flea Market will be marking its 30th year in 2025, and it's hosted in memory of George Rovnak. It will be open on one day only, and members of the public are encouraged to stop by and do some shopping.
The event will include both salt and freshwater tackle, and there will be displays to browse through. Along with the used goods, there will also be new items on offer, and Apparel and boating related items will be in the mix. Food and drink may be purchased at the venue.
To add even more excitement to the day, the organizers have planned door prize draws, and these will take place once every half hour. The giveaways will see rods, reels and other gear, as well as Corporate Gifts presented to the winners. Admission will be $5.00 for adults with kids 12 and under invited to attend free of charge.
This chance for Clark fishers and other outdoor enthusiasts to purchase some “new to you” gear and other items will be running from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm at 1405 St. Georges Avenue in Rahway. Any vendors interested in this sales opportunity can contact the organizers by phone at 718-909-3237.
