Celebration addresses cause in Clark

A Clark event will show that their community stands behind children battling cancer, as well as the families joining the battle with them.

The 16th annual Car Show and Motorcycle Run will be raising funds for Jason’s Friends Foundation. Admission will be free, and donations to the cause will be gratefully accepted.

The plans include a car show, and owners of all makes and models who have been looking for an excuse to showcase their wheels are welcome to participate. Trophies will be awarded, and vehicles can be registered on the day of the event for $20 each.

Along with the show, a motorcycle run has been organized for the day. It follows a 50-mile route through New Jersey, and kickstands will go up at 11:15 am. A food court will be on site, and music, a vendor alley, and beer garden will wrap up the festivities.

To help maximize the impact of the day, its organizers are interested in hearing from any local businesses that would like to serve as a sponsor. Sponsorships for an activity can range from monetary donations to the contribution of branded Corporate Gifts in kind.

The event will bring the fun to Clark on Saturday, September 27. Anyone who would like to learn about sponsorship and vendor opportunities can find contact details on its online listing.
