Clark supports pet supply donation drive

People for Animals (PFA) and the YWCA Union County have joined forces to bring a donation drive to the Clark area, and the beneficiaries will be some companion animals and the people who love them.

PFA’s Hillside Clinic runs its Whole Families program, which helps pets and their families facing homelessness, domestic violence, or hospital stays. As it is currently running at full capacity, it is looking for a helping hand.

The donation drive will be collecting pet food and other supplies such as kitty litter and toys. When they make their contribution, members of the public can find out more about the organization's Foster Home program, which gives households a chance to provide a temporary residence to a companion animal to support someone in hospital, at a respite shelter, or other facility. They receive full support, and at the end of their stay, the pet goes home to their family.

Donation drives come in many Forms, ranging from stuffing a bag, bus, or car to door-to-door campaigns, fundraising days, and special events. A banner printing company can help ensure they are a success, helping to keep them with their budget.

Save Families, Save Pets Day will support the work of PFA this Saturday, September 26. The drive will kick off at 11:00 am and continue until 3:00 pm.
