For the past 30 years, a special event aimed at local anglers has helped to make fishing more budget friendly, and it will soon be on offer once again.
The Fall Fishing Flea Market will be held in honor of George Rovnak, and it will welcome Clark shoppers for five hours. A small admission fee will be charged at the door for adults, while those 12 and under may enter for free.
The tackle and gear on display for sale will include both freshwater and saltwater options, with many available at a bargain price. Every half hour, a name will be chosen for the door prize draw, and there will be an assortment of prizes such as rods, tackle, and reels. Food and drinks may be purchased on site. At the time of writing, there is still room for additional vendors to set up shop. Anyone interested can call 718-909-3237.
Pop-up markets focused on a specific hobby may attract a lot of attention. Choosing marketing materials that offer a high return on investment can be a snap with support from a local poster printing company.
The Rahway Fall Fishing Flea Market will help area fishers land their next big catch on Saturday, November 22. It will be welcoming one and all at 1405 St. Georges Avenue in Rahway from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm.
