Summer donation drive scheduled for Clark

Clark residents have been asked to roll up their sleeves and lend a hand with an activity that may help them save a life.

The upcoming blood drive that will be held in honor of Gary Letizia will take place at the Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad, and to thank those who choose to participate, special memorial coins will be presented. While walk-ins will be welcome, appointments are highly encouraged, and the activity has been organized by New York Blood Center.

The Center will have its mobile blood donor vehicle parked on site for the afternoon, and when they arrive, the donors will each be greeted and asked to participate in a brief health screening. It will then be time to make the donation, and both double red cells and whole blood collection options may be available. Afterwards, they will be able to rest and have some light refreshments before going about the rest of their day.

Donation drives can be effective at raising contributions and awareness of a particular cause. A poster printing company can craft both marketing materials as well as bespoke Promotional Products to present as a “thank you” to the donors.

Clark residents are reminded to save some space in their summer plans for this chance to be an everyday hero. It will take place on July 14th.
