The Panic Point Haunted Forest in Youngsville will be opening for the season later this month.
Such special attractions are often promoted throughout a region with poster printing.
There are five unique attractions at this scare-fest—The Menacing Maze, Killers in the Corn, Hayride, Dark Trail, and the Haunted Forest. The Haunted Trail is the featured attraction, providing 12 scenes with over 30 characters haunting people as they travel the trail. The Dark Trail has many unexpected twists and lacks light.
The Haunted Hayride wanders through the woods among spiders, aliens, and murderers. Killers in the Corn features a variety of scary and spooky distorted figures. The newest attraction is Stalkers Farm, which is a backwoods bonanza inspired by a Carolina theme with little old ladies and bootleggers up to no good.
The entrance to each attraction faces the circle of horror. Here, there are two bonfires around which people can have food and beverages and a DJ spinning music. Guests can win a T-shirt at the carnival games. The Carney Crypt is its latest attraction.
There are three pricing levels that depend on the size of the crowd on any evening. Panic Point holds a Fan Appreciation Night at the end of the season.
The Panic Point Haunted Forest on Cedar Creek Road will be on weekends only from Saturday, September 24 through Saturday, November 5.
