Restaurant now open in Youngsville

Grub Smokehouse recently opened in Youngsville on Capital Boulevard.

The restaurant is led by David and Kristina Garrison, a husband-and-wife team. It is a fast casual restaurant that offers smoked meats, salads, and sandwiches in a family-friendly and relaxed atmosphere. All its menu items are made from scratch, including desserts and sauces. Signature items on the menu include beef cheeks, smoked pastrami, smoked turkey sandwiches, and the sweet potato cinnamon roll.

Grub Smokehouse offers both outdoor seating that is welcoming for dogs and kids as well as indoor seating. Also offered are take-out and the suggestion to bring a blanket and enjoy a picnic outdoors.

When establishments like restaurants open, particularly if they are promoting innovative concepts, owners can benefit from flyer printing to spread the news throughout a community.

The Garrisons previously owned a restaurant in Merced, California, and David is a chef who has cooked for the Dalai Lama, Anthony Bourdain, and presidents of the United States. His focus at the Grub Smokehouse is on live-fire cooking that he wants to introduce to this part of North Carolina. The Garrison are looking to create a welcoming space in the community that will bring people together.

The restaurant is open from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Plans are to introduce items for brunch on Saturdays as well as special events and wine and beer in the coming months.
